Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using Extension Coder at extensioncoder.io, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
What the service does
Extension Coder lets you describe a Chrome extension in plain language. The service uses AI to generate extension code and assets, loads the result into a live browser preview, and helps you prepare the extension for submission to the Chrome Web Store.
Your content
You own the extensions and code you create through the service. By using Extension Coder, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit your content for the sole purpose of operating and improving the service. We do not claim ownership of your work.
AI output disclaimer
Code, assets, privacy policies, and other content generated by the service are produced by AI models and are a starting point, not a finished product. You are responsible for reviewing all generated output before publishing. This includes ensuring your extension complies with Chrome Web Store policies, applicable laws, and any third-party terms. Extension Coder makes no guarantee that generated code is accurate, secure, or fit for any particular purpose.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the service to build or distribute extensions that:
- violate any applicable law or regulation
- contain malware, spyware, or other malicious code
- violate Chrome Web Store policies or Google's developer terms
- infringe the intellectual property rights of others
- collect user data without disclosure or consent
You also agree not to abuse or attempt to circumvent the service itself, including automated scraping, reverse engineering, or attempting to access other users' data.
No warranty
The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated output will be accurate or suitable for your use.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Extension Coder and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including damages from reliance on AI-generated output.
Account suspension and termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice. If your account is terminated for a violation, you remain responsible for any obligations incurred before termination.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
